Took a while but it was fun and turned out awesome! Good quality of canvas and paints.
I used to love doing paint by number as a kid. As a matter of fact, I have the ones I did as a teenage framed and hanging. I asked for a Paint by Number and my husband got me this one. Well, things have certainly changed in this genre like it has in the rest in the World but this change is ever better. The project is on a canvas instead of a hard canvas, the paints are high quality and the picture itself is stunning. I'll be wanting another of these to complete. Love, love, love it!
There was one pink color that was so transparent that I had to do 3-4 coats of it. But I loved this painting. I took my time with it and have gotten so many compliments!
They were nice begginers paint kit takes forever needs more paint
With the world as it is, it was quite relaxing and gave me something to do.
Box it came in was a little flimsy but everything inside came as expected. Will make a great gift!
Very easy to paint. Everyone says it?s beautiful Best pastime for quarantine. Looks just like the picture.
This was a pretty high quality kit. It came with a printed reference sheet which was handy when doing touch ups and I wasn?t sure which shade of blue to use. The canvas comes folded, not rolled, so I ironed the back of the canvas and got most of the fold lines out. The rest came out after being taped to a board then gessoed/painted. Paint color #8 is a hot pink, and very translucent. It didn?t provide good coverage and went on streaky. If you look at my photos, you?ll see that I changed #8 to a purple color by mixing #8 with some acrylic paints I already owned. Up close, you can see that the purple color is uneven in texture because of all the layers of hot pink I had already applied while trying to smooth out the coverage. So I would recommend mixing in some white with #8 to make it more opaque or just using a completely different paint for that color. Also, you should cover the numbers with a bit of white before you paint #5 and the yellows/reds.
