I have been using several of these in a small print farm for my business making large parts in ABS mostly. I have also used them in making PLA prototype parts and with using CURA mold castings. The Ultrabase covered by microporous coating is very good if using PLA. I highly recommend using Original Bed Weld on the surface when making parts in ABS. This will prevent bed failure where the bed coating can be over heated and bond the glass and coating to the printed part. This will only occur under high heat situations. This has been a very good machines. Bed leveling is really no problem done right. I bought them for the large surface area and they are very good at that. 3D printing is not fast but I make prints that run for 5 days. I hope AnyCubic continues to make this printer. Updated would make this outstanding.
Because of the pandemic, it was the longest wait for a super tool. But the wait was worth it, the package arrived whole, the factory calibration was almost fine. From 4-5 tests I managed to get the alignment in all 25 points. And the results were just right, in draft mode I am very satisfied even with delicate pieces. Any 3D dream can come true now. Thanks Anycubic! Highly recommend!
I've had this for a couple of weeks now. It has performed flawlessly from day one. This is my first FFF printer, and I've done one "benchy" and about a dozen engineering parts so far. I'm guessing this printer is far better than a lot of people realize - I've got mates with other printers, and they're forever telling me about tricks they have to use to get things to stick to the bed (tapes and sprays etc), or hoods they have to use to get big prints to work, or specific brands of filaments they need, and so on - and since none of that is relevant to me, I guess this printer is the perfect combination of bits that are needed to "just work". I've just taken delivery of a *pile* of filament - bring on home-isolation!!!
Highly recommend. Great starter printer or for someone looking to upgrade to a large build volume. Set up was easy and build quality was very good. I had an issue with the firmware in the printer so I reached out to customer support and they were very helpful! I highly recommend anycubic based on their customer service. Great Printer for the price....hard to find a large printer this size for a better price. Highly recommended
This is a great printer all around! I had a few issues but Anycubic support was quick to respond and send information or replacement components. I recommend this printer to all levels of users. The assembly is quick and you can start printing within 2 hours of unboxing. The large build volume is also great for art projects! I've uploaded a few examples of what you can do with it. Thank you Anycubic!
This is my first entry into 3D printing and after the initial fumbling around I find this to be the perfect machine for me to learn on. I would have liked a fully automatic bed leveling but the out of filament sensor works well as dose the power outage sensor, something that will be very useful here in Maine.
