I have had this printer for approximately 1 year, and it is capable of creating some very high quality prints without any modifications . I initially found my print bed was slightly warped, and Anycubic customer support replaced it free of charge. I highly recommend this printer, it’s well made, and a great value.
I have had 3 printers. The first was small, and I got it free for a review. It was good but had no heated bed, and I had no idea I should level anything. It broke a month later. Then my second one was amazing but when it came to parts that needed to move, it fused them together every time. Leveling the bed was a chore. I got my Mega Pro a few weeks ago, and have printed many articulated models flawlessly. Leveling the bed has been so easy. The only way it could be better is if it leveled on its own. I love the interface on the machine, and love how quiet it is. I am a 59 year old Ph.D. student and do my studies in the same room with the printer, and so far, I have had zero issues hearing my videos while the printer is running. One other thing I like is how well it prints tall objects. I did a lithophane and realized my supports for the base were not really wide enough. However, it printed straight to the top, which was more than 4 inches from the bed, with no issues. I am attaching two pictures. The tiger moved its arms and legs right off the bed, and I was so happy. The doll was something I tried and failed to print on my second printer, and so far I have made 3. I am working on a folding wallet right now, and looking forward to folding it, something Ialso could not do before. Thankyou AnyCubic for making such an amazing printer.
Great machine I’d recommend it any day. Only issue is when the plate/bed travels on a big print it rubs on the cables on the right back corner and turns the leveling wheel adjusting it by itself and making the bed not level during a print. I had to tape down cables to not touch it during operation. The design needs to be modified to fix the issue!
I love this printer when it works. I have constant issues with the filament system. Tech Support replaced my first filament motor. Most of the time I try to print something overnight, I wake up to partial items where the filament stopped but the system keep going. Also the filament monitor has numerous false alerts where the filament is fine but it stops the build. It is great when it works.
This printer is fantastic. I am a mother of a 9 year old boy with big ideas and no background in 3D printing for either of us. This printer was easy to use out of the box.. As our projects got bigger, customer support was very helpful troubleshooting when we needed help. This summer, one of the components broke and ANYCUBIC quickly shipped us a new part. We have had the printer for 6 mo and it is running great!
Ok, I hade to return the first one because it kept restarting when you hit the print but it the return was super easy and I had the replay the next day. The set up is very easy. 8 bolts and plug in 3 wires and it¡¯s nearly ready. The bed leveling is made easy with the sensor switch you plug in. In less than 15 minutes all was done and I was running my first test print which came out well. Then I tried the laser function. You do have to switch out the wires, but again the test was easy also.
I wasn¡¯t sure what to expect since I haven¡¯t used a printer that¡¯s also a laser engraver but I have plenty of anycubics and I gotta say this is really really cool. It¡¯s got a heated bed so my prints stay put and and the laser engraving is pretty fun. Overall it¡¯s neat printer that¡¯s definitely worth a try.
