I've had several different types of memory foam bathmats.. I've tried deluxe versions from the local stores. This floor mat is probably the most comfortable. It is thicker than other brands. It seems to have sturdy construction & fulfills its purpose to absorb water. I have experienced very little slippage or movement of the mat at all. Whether the rubber dotted backing has been upgraded/improved I'm not aware. All I can say, compared to the last set of premium bath mats I obtained from the store. These floor mats have a concrete Grip on the floor. Value for money.
First of all, it's the softest and most lovely thing ever. I would love slippers made of this. Also, it didn't lose any softness or thickness as we used it. It didn't seem to get as dirty as quickly as our other bathmat from Ikea- not sure why, but it just stayed nice looking for way longer. When I washed it today, I was concerned how in the world I was going to put it in my washer- I just folded it in half, length-wise, and formed a circle with it, and dropped it in. It washed up very nicely and dried well, too. It feels and looks exactly like it did fresh out of the box. I didn't expect to be WOWed by a bath mat, but here we are. I would absolutely recommend this and I'm very pleased with this purchase.
Very soft, very comforting, relieves pressure on joints. We have tile in the bathroom, and when standing in front of sinks, or drying off, our joints start to ache. My husband has bad knees. So, I ordered one of these for his sink, one for mine, and one for the front of the shower, and we’ve both talked about how much better our joints feel when we’re brushing teeth, drying off, etc. I know it’s just a bath mat - but, at the same time, it’s NOT just a bath mat!! That memory foam makes all the difference.
I like the memory foam and how soft it is. It does seem to dry quickly and never be soaking yet. So that’s a plus. It doesn’t seem to be collecting a smell after use. It’s a little more expensive than Walmart’s version, but it’s worth not having to go inside and shop for one. I would recommend it to anyone that doesn’t want their floor getting wet.
