I had a bit of fat beneath my chin that bothered me for some time and I came across this product browsing Amazon. I was skeptical, but decided to give it a go. If you can exercise any other muscle on your body, it only makes sense that you can exercise the ones under your chin. For about a month, I didn't see anything, but on week five my Husband and I began to notice a change in my chin's shape. I've been using it (inconsistently) for about a year and a half now and it has really made a difference! The key is form. You must sit up straight, hold the slimmer in place and take your time with each repetition. Press down for about 1.5 seconds, clench at the bottom of the contraction for 1 second and then slowly release back to starting position over 1.5 seconds. It helps if you have a stopwatch to pay attention to time. Without doing it this way, I do not feel my muscles even with the strongest coil. As an added bonus, I dealt with TMJ for about eight years until I purchased this product. It did not cure my TMJ, but I hardly notice it anymore! I couldn't ask for more. I look better and eliminated constant pain in my jaw! I recommend this product to anyone looking to slim down their under-chin area. It's also worth a shot if you suffer from TMJ!
I bought this with the idea that it probably would not work but amazingly after about a week I actually noticed a little difference. I use it more than 2 minutes. When i am just watching tv I pick it up and do a few sets of 10 a few times a day. I used the strongest spring right off the bat because the others seemed to weak.
OK. I read a lot of reviews before I ordered the mine Neck slimmer. The positive reviews said to make sure you were using the product correctly. THIS IS THE KEY!!! I felt like it was working my neck muscles but didn't really *see* results the first few weeks. I was using the Slimmer twice a day but was doing the exercises on the couch while watching TV. One day I decided to use the Slimmer in front of the mirror, and realized that while sitting on the couch I was unable to position my neck properly. You must sit on the edge of the bed or couch, or stand. Also you must do the exercises slowly and exactly the way the little manual says to. Bottom line - in the week or so that I've been using the Slimmer correctly - I HAVE ALREADY STARTED SEEING RESULTS!!! I am absolutely thrilled and will continue to use it twice a day, every day until my neck skin has tightened up. The Slimmer is doing exactly what it's supposed to do!!!!!
Used this several years ago- had friends (whom I hadn't seen in a year) comment that my 'face shape had changed'. :) Was REALLY glad to see this in the Add-On program- I bought two (one for home, one for purse). It really takes no time at all, so there's no non-medical excuse for not doing this. Works if you work it- read the instructions & be SURE that you are doing the exercises correctly (and not compensating with other muscles). Keep in mind that it can only do so much- it will tone the muscles but it may not be as apparent if you have a lot of fat in the area(multiple chins).
I'm bad at putting things together lol so I was concerned putting the various springs in it but it was actually very easy to do. My first time using it and continuing now daily I went right to the most resistant, strongest spring. I don't use the two lesser springs. I like that it comes with it's own little carrying purse w/ zipper too for storage. I like that it's slightly smaller than I imagined it would be so it's less bulky for storage,is even practical to bring with you if you travel a lot, plus it fights nicely in my hand and fits perfectly between my chin and chest and is comfortable. It comes with instructions and suggestions for the exercises and how many to do for best results too. I plan to continue using this daily ongoing.
