I don't usually write reviews, but I was apprehensive about purchasing this item and thought it might help others. All of the great reviews helped to put me over the edge with my purchase. I usually go to the sauna in the gym, but don't always have time to go. I thought I would get more use of it if it were in my home. I purchased it and received it today. It was so simple to unfold and set up. I let it preheat for about 10 minutes. I got in, zipped it up and started sweating within about 5 minutes. This is definitely a keeper. I stayed in for about 45 minutes. Had it up to 150 degrees the whole time. Dripping sweat. Left a big puddle in the floor of it. It is easy to clean up. I will definitely be using it several times a week. Great Buy!
Im so glad i made this purchase. I have been contemplating purchasing a steam sauna for at least a year. I went back-and-forth on what kind it was that I wanted to purchase with a steamer or a sauna. And I’m so glad I chose to infrared sauna over your traditional steamer sauna which you have to add water to it. And many of the reviews states that the water machine for the steam sauna can have malfunctions out but a few uses. I’m so glad that I went this route with the infrared sauna because it takes no time to set it up and no time to put away and is less messy, all you have to do is plug it up, zip up and go. Where is for the traditional steamer sauna it takes minutes to set up and there can be mess with the water once you are finished with it and time to put it away can be time-consuming. This infrared sauna is the best go to in my opinion because it’s less clean up and easy to set up and put away, which is a plus if you have a small workout room or living space it really tucks away unseen. And you also get this sweating results that you are looking for.
I used the sauna for the first time today. I hate to assemble anything, so I let it stay in the box a couple of days, hoping the Good Sauna Fairy would set it up for me. This was as easy to set up as a pop-up tent. I knew that for the money, I wouldn’t get the same experience as in a $3,000 sauna. I’m 5’6”, and after preheating it about 15 minutes I chose to sit cross-legged on the floor, keeping my head and hands inside, and flipping the cover over the neck hole. I stayed inside about 40 minutes at the 150 degree setting. I’m pretty sure that It didn’t reach that maximum temperature, but I was sufficiently sweaty at the end of that time. I bought it to detox, and over time, I hope (and think) it will help my joints. There is a small chair that comes with it, but sitting completely inside made a cozy place to read with my portable book light ... kind of like when I was a kid and built a fort! As I stated, I’ve only used it once, but I am more than satisfied with the product and I think it was fairly priced.
I was skeptical in the beginning, but after the second try in the portable sauna, I was amazed at how hot it got. The assembly was a little challenging for me, but I was able to put it together. I love it. I'm not thinking about the health club now because I'm not missing the effects of a sauna bath. I can highly recommend it!
