We use these all the time in the kitchen. They can be used anywhere but they seem to gravitate towards where we cook when we are using recipes on the kindle or watching a show. we don't even use it so the hands hold it, we just use them to prop the kindle or phone up at an angle for reading the tablet.
Got these as gifts and don't regret it. They do what they say. Before purchasing I saw someone in the reviews claiming you couldn't put your phone at an angle with these. All you have to do is move the hands higher up to lean it and it creates an angle. Anyway, I gave one to my boyfriend and one too his mom. She's in bed a lot and has to stay on her side pretty often, this was perfect for her.
These are the perfect thing for a desk or in the home. The fun thumbs up design is perfect. You can put the phone in either the upright or side position too! My only complaint is that the finger parts are long so you may have to shift them around a bit if you need to navigate the screen. Perfect for a tabletop.
Just what I needed! This lets me keep my phone almost vertical, which is exactly what I wanted. It can also be adjusted to be at an angle. It's a little light for holding the phone vertically, but putting a small beanbag on the back of the holder does the trick. (It wouldn't need the beanbag if set at an angle.)
These are fun, novel, and useful items. Everyone was excited to receive them. I used them as part of my Christmas gifts to hold other presents like gift cards. People I gave them to also ordered them to give as gifts. They work very well. I kept two myself. I would make two slight improvements; I don't know what the markup is but they are a tad pricey. I did like the multiple unit buying options though. Second, though my phone is in a protective case, the "hands" still creep over the edge and block a very small part of the screen. This is easily fixed by positioning the hands in a different spot depending on what you are doing. This would be a good issue to resolve. Love the item though and the novelty of it made me look pretty creative at Christmas time even though, well, I'm a guy.
