This would make a really lovely gift, although I bought it for myself. I love the size of it, it's pretty small about the size of an apple. It will sit perfectly on a mantle or desk. There are different settings for the lights, so you can keep it solid on the color of your choice or have them rotate.
Looks great and it's working as advertised. Has a nice wieght to the crystal ball I could Nick pick on a few missing details but I'm not because for the price this is a great gift, especially for a kid just getting interested in the Solar system and the beyond.
Very cute !!! Thanks!!!!
This was a gift for my grandson and he loved it. Not only does it appear to be floating but with the light on it is really cool looking in his bedroom with the lights off.
Beauty! Professionally packaged. Arrived in the Netherlands in 9 days. I’m very pleased. It has very fine detail and the planets are easily distinguished.
I bought this as a gift for my five-year-old grandson, who is into space science. He absolutely loved it. I am so happy that I bought it. It sits on a stand that lights up, and when oriented properly, you can read the names of the planets. My grandson treasures this gift.
I was very pleased with this little solar system crystal ball. The quality of the ball is very good. It has some weight to it and I would not recommend it for children under 5. My 7 year old loves space and this was the perfect gift for her. The solar system is so clear and easy to read and it looks really cool even when it’s not lit up. It has different color changing features as well. The base is plastic and the cord is a little short but has an outlet plug with USB adapter. Overall, I am really happy with this purchase. Great value and best gift for a child or adult. Would be perfect for a desk or as a nightlight.
The crystal ball is heavy that will seriously make it injure to anyone if drop it to the ground. The product was well designed and it is quite bright in dark room. Fortunately, my kids like to see that under the blanket on the bed, and my kids discuss each other to find out the different opinion. I see their imagination is surprisingly creative than me. As they saw the solar system so often, they already memorize all the planet names and shapes in our solar system. Good to have it for the 5 - 8 year old kids.
