I really like these sandals, but i will tell you there is an adjustment period. As a runner, my feet take a pounding and these provide just the right amount displacement pressure around my foot pad to drive away the running pain. The short story is that these sandals will hurt for the first few times you wear them so go slow, let your feet adapt. Soon you'll be craving them.
I've been wearing them (with heavy socks) for five minutes or so each day, slowly building up my tolerance, and I'm impressed. (Perhaps the trick is that my feet feel so relieved once they're OFF that I'm conned into thinking my feet are improving? :-) Really, though, I DO think they are helping my circulation. They also, like someone else commented, tend to make me stand up straighter when I walk on them. And yes, they have an odor when you first unpack them, but that goes away quickly. In short, they seem well made, and I'm really glad I bought them. But they are, of course, purely for therapeutic purposes.
I bought this for my wife, and she seems to love it. She says it relaxes her. I tried it, and it does take a couple of times to get used to prickling your foot. If you have real sensitive feet, it might not feel good to you.
I really like these! I purchased the ones with the jade in them. I use them with socks, but noticed a considerable difference in my posture and a decrease in my hip pain and lower back pain using these every day. I would highly recommend them to everyone I know!
They hurt like a mother when you just start using them. But once you're used to them, it's actually awesome how well they dig in. Definitely helpful for my plantar fasciitis. Sizing is accurate.
I tried these Slippers on for 10 minutes and my lower back pain GONE!!! People say they hurt and they do sting a little. I experience a good numbing pain from these. I wore them with socks and without and I feel like it's more effective on me when I wear them with out socks. If you're thinking about buying these do yourself a favor and try them out. Your feet will thank you! Lowkey they ugly but you'll feel amazing after you take them off. I'm going to buy my dad some!
I just received my Acupressure Massage Slippers and was a bit skeptical when I put them on and the pressure of the stones really hurt my feet as I suffer from plantar fasciitis and a heel spur. I walked around for 15 minutes as instructed and they kept hurting..........a lot, but when I took them off, my feet felt wonderful. I would highly recommend these slippers.
I bought these for my husband since he has plantar fasciitis he only used them while sitting and is working his way into standing in them. He loves these and is really excited about working into walking in them.
